I have Bipolar Disorder. Does that make me abnormal?
I respect people. I change for me, and only me. I have a past, but I know I have a future.
Does that make me different?

I don't fight fair...Cut, bruised, scraped, forgotten. These things I have all been at least once in my life. But it

All the things I'll miss
wrapped into two words.

The empty room
next to mine,
not nearly as empty
as the place in my heart
will be.

I might walk
through his room
just to imagine
he's back.
Even there,
in his room
things will be wrong.
No piles of clothes
covering the floor,
books missing
from the sagging shelves,
a well-loved guitar,
taken with him.

I'll walk the high school halls
almost convincing myself
I"ll turn a corner
and see him again.

But I won't,
he'll be gone.

My brother,
and all the things I'll miss.
